Project Management

Course Objective:

The objective of this course is to have all participants know and apply principles of project management to better manage projects -- producing timely, quality results within budget that meet customer expectations.

• Know the language and process steps of a successful project.
• Understand the three phases of project management.
• Comprehend the elements of project success and failure common to all projects.
• Apply project process principles to a core team of sponsor, customer, stakeholder and project team.
• Fully understand how effective meetings and team dynamics interplay for the success of a project.
• Learn the importance of a transition strategy and communication networks in facilitating a project's success.
• Become familiar with how to manage and control a project during the implementation stage.
• Improve present or future projects by applying course principles to their work environment.
• Design transition management plan for project.
