Lucian G. Conway, Ph.D., CPA

Dr. Conway is one of the leading instructors of financial decision making in America. He has taught over 1,000 continuing professional education courses in the areas of finance, accounting, ratemaking, economics, strategy, and competition for some of the leading professional training groups including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Accountants, Edison Electric Institute, the Southern Gas Association, The Baylor Utility Conference, and the Cornell University Continuing Education Center. Most of Dr. Conway's course development and instruction is performed in-house. He has completed consulting assignments with many Fortune 500 companies.

Dr. Conway is President of Conway Consulting. He has served as the J.E. Bush Professor of Accountancy in Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business. Dr. Conway enjoys contributing his knowledge and expertise to training managers. He has worked as an auditor with Ernst and Young and as an information systems analyst with Accenture. He has been selected as a Faculty Fellow with Price Waterhouse and Company. He has also been a CPA since 1970.

Dr. Conway received his Bachelors of Science in accounting from Louisiana Tech University and his MBA and Ph.D. in financial accounting from Louisiana State University where he specialized in financial analysis and reporting. Dr. Conway is the author of numerous books and articles including publications in such prestigious academic journals as Management Accounting and Accounting Horizons.

Dr. Conway has received eight outstanding educator awards for course development, instructional technique and creativity in management development. Dr. Conway has served Baylor University as President of the Faculty Senate and Associate Dean in the Hankamer School of Business. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Association of Accountants, and the National Association of Accountants.
